Debra Conyers Fearing  (16 Sept 1951 - 1 Oct 2017)

She was the daughter of Stanton Aaron Conyers and Janie Smith Conyers. In addition to her parents, Debra is survived by her daughter, Tricia Fearing Kolb and her husband, Erich; sisters, Sandra "Sandi" Conyers Anderson and husband Tommy, and Teresa "Terri" Conyers Tripp; and former spouse Tatnal Warner Fearing Jr. Debra fought a valiant battle with breast cancer. 

Debra worked for the North Carolina Utilities Commission for over 40 years. She attended Broughton High School and was in the first graduating class at Sanderson High School in 1969. Debra attended East Carolina University where she became an avid lover of Carolina Beach Music and shag dancing. In 1997 she became a member of the Raleigh Shag Club and throughout her life was very active on numerous committees and fundraisers. Debra's passion was taking care of others and she left behind many great friends. She was an avid volunteer, including Meals on Wheels and Pretty in Pink. She adored the NC State Wolfpack, bridge, attending SOS, her dog Suzie and her grand-dogs. 

A funeral service was held 7 Oct 2017 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home followed by burial at Montlawn Memorial Park. 

The family requested in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Transitions Lifecare (Hospice) or Pretty In Pink Foundation Inc.
