Joy Musser, 65, of Zebulon, lost her brief battle with cancer on 4 Dec 2016. She was born in Portsmouth, Virginia, the daughter of the late Rudolph and Cherrie Averitt. She was a member of Rolesville Baptist Church and was retired as a Senior Analyst with Duke (Progress) Energy.
She is survived by her husband, Glenn Musser; daughter, Amanda M. McCall and husband William, of Wilson; son, Timothy G. Musser and wife, Lindsay, of Winston-Salem; grandchildren, Daisy Musser, Reid Musser, Sam Musser and Paisley June McCall; brother, Bob Averitt and wife, Sandy of The Villages, Florida.
A memorial service was held on 10 Dec 2016 at Rolesville Baptist Church.
